This will be the LAST (I Hope)

Pardon me but I just can't stop myself posting this... I love this part (on the right) of the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (and the hell care if others hated the epilogue!):P...

Though I honestly thought it would be great if there's some sweet moments among the characters before the epilogue part. But I'm glad I came across this drawing in deviantART. Men, there are really amazing drawings there! And this drawing struck me the most...

ALL HAIL
SNAPE! He's the HERO!b-( LOL

Since we don't what happened after the Battle at Hogwarts, here's another amazing pic (on the left) I got from deviantART! I believe there's a great possibility that this one had happened! This one is really funny! LOL and I love it!

Oplan Smoky Eyes

ALERT! To Not So Kikay Girls!

Beauty Tips... (This is what I need!):(|)

I came across a blog owned by Michelle Phan. This is my second time to visit her blog and I find it really useful for a girl like me... ;)) She talks about stuff and beauty tips which, I believe is quite useful for girls who are not usually into it just like me.. I know I ain't kikay and I don't spend long hours in front of the mirror (the way I do in front of the dining table). But I think I need this (in the near future, perhaps) so, let me have this opportunity to be a little kikay...

Here's a tutorial video on how one can create smoky eyes for girls out there! I would love to try this out except that I still have to look for the stuff needed here. Blimey;)! ang mahal magpaganda! #-oLLDA

Epilogue- Nineteen Years Later

Just tonight, I got hold of a copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in pdf.. Thanks to Joven's generosity , I don't have to suffer reading the book through images because it really makes my eyes hurt (though I still can't stop reading it!)... Okay, it has been more than a couple of weeks that I've been dwelling about what will happened to the characters in the story. I've already read the part wherein Harry's pet Hedwig died as well as Mad-eye Moody, who was hit by the Killing curse, Avada Kedavra and George's ear was hit by Secumsempra... :( But what interests me most is that who else will die?

Beth and I thought that perhaps Ron will die... There were lots of hearsay about him dying in the last Harry Potter book... Will he really die? :-? Thanks to my new copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, I can't help but read the epilogue! Yeah, shame on me but what can I do? I just can't help it... The feeling of reading the eplilogue is like an itch that's needed to be scratched! Anyways, I'm glad Ron's alive in the last chapter... I'd feel bad for Hermione if she end up being alone... ;)

So, what's next? What else have I read? ;;) Well, let's just say I stumble upon Harry and Ginny's kids named James, Albus Severus, and Lily as well a Ron and Hermione's Hugo and Rose (if I'm not mistaken)... :-j

Men, just can't wait to finish the book soon!

Make a Stand- Deathly Hallows Spoilers

I visited Mugglenet.com for the latest update of the last volume of Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. There, I've read that New York Times was able to purchase the last Harry Potter installment from an unnamed bookstore and has posted a review about it which, also contained spoilers about what is to be expected in the Deathly Hallows.

Here are some of the spoilers I ripped off from the article entitled
An Epic Showdown as Harry Potter Is Initiated Into Adulthood in New York Times which was published on 19th of July 2007:

  • At least a half-dozen characters we have come to know die in these pages, and many others are wounded or tortured
  • Voldemort and his followers have infiltrated Hogwarts and the Ministry of Magic, creating havoc and terror in the Wizard and Muggle worlds alike
  • Harry continues to struggle to control his temper, and as he and Ron and Hermione search for the missing Horcruxes
  • Harry’s weird psychic connection with Voldemort seems to have grown stronger too
  • Invisibility cloak, Polyjuice Potion, Dumbledore’s Pensieve and Sirius’s flying motorcycle — play important roles in this volume
  • One of the plot’s significant turning points concerns Harry’s decision on whether to continue looking for the Horcruxes or to pursue the Hallows, three magical objects said to make their possessor the master of Death

So, how was that? Interesting, eh? ^:)^ Men, Just can't wait to read book 7!

Felix Felicis- I'm Inlove

Lately I have this Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince fever in me. I've finished reading book six and its kinda exhilarating for me... I mean with all the love story that goes with it, I feel like becoming a teenager again!:x Actually, two years ago, after hearing from Beth that Harry ended up "falling" for Ginny in the sixth book, I was sort of disappointed coz I first pictured him out with Hermione. I've always liked stories about bestfriends "falling" for each other, you know! :x. However, after reading the book I really enjoy Harry and Ginny's story. Perhaps I took the possibility of them falling for each other for granted because the story usually revolves around Harry, Ron, and Hermione.

Just like others, I have favorite scenes in the Half-Blood Prince. I smiled, laughed, cried while reading the book but what I like most was falling in love especially was when Harry kissed :-* Ginny in front of fifty people after winning the Quidditch match wherein Harry wasn't able to play because he had detention with Prof. Snape and Ginny had to play as the Seeker to replace Harry... I think the scene was kinda sweet : and I loved it!And perhaps I had a couple drops of Felix Felicis that I was lucky enough to stumble upon a drawing of this scene in deviantART.com which was created by greendesire. I really liked the drawing because that was how I imagined it to be when I was reading the book.... heheheh... I just wish I was part of the scene coz that would be more exciting! :D

Harry looked around; there was Ginny running toward him; she had a hard, blazing look in her face as she threw her arms around him. And without thinking, without planning it, without worrying about the fact that fifty people were watching, Harry kissed her.

After several long moments — or it might have been half an hour — or possibly several sunlit days — they broke apart. The room had gone very quiet. Then several people wolf-whistled and there was an outbreak of nervous giggling. Harry looked over the top of Ginny's head to see Dean Thomas holding a shattered glass in his hand, and Romilda Vane looking as though she might throw something. Hermione was beaming, but Harry's eyes sought Ron. At last he found him, still clutching the Cup and wearing an expression appropriate to having been clubbed over the head. For a fraction of a second they looked at each other, then Ron gave a tiny jerk of the head that Harry understood to mean, Well—if you must.

The creature in his chest roaring in triumph, he grinned down at Ginny and gestured wordlessly out of the portrait hole. A long walk in the grounds seemed indicated, during which — if they had time — they might discuss the match.

Jeez, after watching Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix, I can't wait for the next installment of Harry Potter in the big screen! Right now, I feel itchy about the last book- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I just wish the paperback version will be out soon coz I really wanted to read the last book ASAP! %%-

Thank God its Friday!

I was late for work tonight. I, together with Maribeth were late for forty-five minutes and I was thinking how much money will be deducted from my salary.Well, thanks to Harry and the Gang, not to mention the Simpsons Family, Remy, and Detective John McClane, (*) I have to stay behind to have my pictures taken with 'em!

It was one heck of a Friday since it was our first time to eat at Greenwich knowing that Merbin, the manager has been there for a year! It was only now that we persuaded her to give us discount.

And so, for the main event, HARRY POTTER... Watching the fifth installment of the famous children's book Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix was an exciting thing for me... I mean, I have let big Hollywood blockbusters like Pirates of the Carribean at W
orld's End, Spiderman 3, Fantastic Four: The Rise of the Silver Surfer passed (without watching them) but not Harry Potter! :x

They say the movie is a disappointment. I think so too! however, I should say that I still enjoyed watching it.. I mean the Weasley twins are getting cuter and funnier every Harry Potter movie and I found Nymphadora Tonks kinda attractive (she looks like a rockstar with those eyes!):-j In the end, I can't wait to watch the next installment and read the last book! Whew! #:-S Just can't wait what will happen to Harry and Ginny. Will they have sex? I mean make love?! lol :-j What?! they're still humans! Besides in book six some of the characters would snog each other as if there's no tomorrow! (Ok, that's an exaggeration)...

(hahahah.. Nonsense!)

UP and the Others

Maribeth came across this photo and sent it to me last night. I find it really amusing so I decided to write something about it... Others may misunderstood the meaning of this but who cares?! That's what we are!lol Looking at this photo I remember a college joke our prof once told us and it basically (or should I say literally) being portrayed in the picture. 8-} It's kinda cute isn't it? Perhaps to those who are studying and have studied in UP! But to some? ahmm... :-? I have no idea. I never really get the chance to realize how others feel about this photo since I was one of those people who find the photo cute and funny.... hehehe

By the way, It's Beth's birthday today... :D/ heheheh... I don't know if she can read this but I hope she'll be surprised her birthday is part of my post... I won't be wishing her good luck because I know lots of people already did so. But on the other hand, on behalf of Grace and Michelle, I wish ourselves %%- hoping we can have another bucket meal soon! ahahahahahah...

Cool, eh?

Hoy! Pinoy Ako!

After watching the news this evening I decided to watch the match of a filipino boxer named Nonito Donaire who won against Vic Darchinyan via TKO in the fifth round last July 7, 2007 held in Connecticut. Vic Darchinyan once beat Glenn Donaire, Nonito's brother before. It was last Saturday that Nonito had his revenge against this Armenian champion snatching both IBF and IBO titles. The match was dominated by Nonito from the start and ended it with a single left hook!

Well, what can I say? 7-7-7 wasn't only lucky for couples but also for Nonito Donaire and the Filipino people. Here's the climax of the Donaire-Darchinyan match from youtube:

Let's get Religious

I've been quite busy watching a series entitled Exhibition of Fireworks that's why I don't really find time writing something here. I got no interesting topics to post because I am preoccupied with the drama... So, I need to wring every drop of my creative juices in order to put something here. lol

Two nights ago I came across a blog of someone I know way back in college. We're not really close and perhaps he only knew by my face- cute face (waaah!). We only met during the Sponge Cola Concert which was held in school. I can still remember the time when I became a lady security guard standing at the Infante gate soaked. I was with the guys of Validus Amicitia and got to know some of the members from Miagao. Anyway, in his blog I saw this link about religion called Belief System Selector, I got interested in it and I thought I never really get to answer anything like this... It would be nice if I try to have one now, right?

I was even surprised with what the result! Men! I am 100% Conservative Christian/Protestant and just 87% Roman Catholic! Whoa! that was a big surprise! Don't get me wrong I don't have anything against Protestants or any Religion for that matter. It's just that, it was quite ridiculous because I'm not that devoted to my religion in the sense that I don't go to church regularly and do not uphold some of the doctrines of the church (sometimes)and knowing that Protestantism is a very conservative religion and getting a perfect score feels weird...^O^

By the way, here's my top 5 results:

1. Mainline- Conservative Christian/Protestant (100%)
2. Mainline - Liberal Christian Protestants (89%)
3. Orthodox Quaker (88%)
4.Eastern Orthodox (87%)
5. Roman Catholic (87%)

Perhaps the reason why I got this result is that when I answered the questions, I chose those which I considered right and what I meant with "right"is that it's part of the doctrines and teaching of my religion and not the ones I practice or somehow agree about. In any case, I'm still considered as a Roman Catholic (even though I didn't get the perfect score)... ^O^

According to the SelectSmart.com Belief System Selector, my #1 belief match is ROMAN CATHOLIC.

Esmyuskee

The famous and first ever kid gag show in Philippine television is back! ABS-CBN will replay Ang TV which first aired in 1992 and starred most of the country's stars today. I can't wait for the replay! hehehe.. I miss those times when I would go home before four-thirty in the afternoon just to watch Ang TV! Can't forget their famous lines like Esmyuskee, Nge, and of course who can forget the line "FOUR-THIRTY NA, ANG TV NA!!!"... Whew! I miss being a kid again...: D
