Can't get over Frank

Its has been almost three weeks after the mind-blowing flood which hit the Iloilo last June 21. But somehow it feels like it was just a week ago. Our house now looks more tidier and organized than the first two weeks right after the horrifying day. All our clothes have been washed but the thing is most of the white ones don't look like white anymore. The electricity was restored last Sunday as well as our television set and fridge. However, up until now, our electric fans still aren't working!

I should have written something about my pet dog Inggoi right after my first post about the flood. But I felt like I don't have anything to talk about. Inggoi, if you must know was the cutest dog I ever had. Yes, had. He was trapped in one of my grandparents' room downstairs and died. He was named after my crush Inggoi so somehow I consider him important. Actually, I was already expecting that something bad might have happened to him during the flood since I didn't see him together with our other pets. After the water subsided and I heard the news that Inggoi's dead, I didn't even bother to look at him. I never really thought he'd die that way. I didn't really feel something about it at that time. Perhaps its because I was already expecting it (though I'm not hoping for it) and somehow felt frustrated that my pet wasn't able to survive unlike the two others. And the thing right now is that I finally realized how I miss my Inggoi. It's all coming back to me now. Those times when he came up to me everytime he saw me, ran after me when I'm on my way to work, and the times when he wanted me to play with him. I must say he really is special.

The recent flood by typhoon Frank caused a lot of changes in our lives. Everything might look the same but something is different. It feels like we are starting anew. I still feel a little nostalgic just by looking around. I still miss the way our old house looks like and everything else in the place where I live. At this point, there's nothing beautiful when you look around. I can say that everything is still a mess especially the garbage brought by flood. It still looks like a sore in everyone's eyes! and the mud! still horrible especially when it rains! I still don't know until when are we going to suffer the aftermath of this calamity.

Wonder how it really affected our lives? Here are some pics I call before and after. This are just some of those locations in our place.

Ikalawang Yugto- Rico Blanco's Back

I was downloading a song from a website awhile ago when something caught my attention. There was this song entitled Yugto from the upcoming new album of Rico Blanco, the ex-Rivermaya's vocalist who left his band a year ago. So, does this mean Rico will be back in the local music scene? If he will, then that would be great. He's a very good songwriter and I like most of his songs not to mention the fact that my friend Michelle will be ecstatic to hear about this. She admire Rico a lot.

I decided to download the song on my own satisfaction just to check if its nice. To my surprice the lyrics is quite interesting. As for me, I think the song is a giveaway of the reason why he left a year ago. I don't know... Actually, I'm not that sure about it. Perhaps I'm just a malicious person that's why I mention this kind of things.

Oh, well. I decided to transcribe the lyrics of the song which is quite stupid coz I forgot to just search for it on google (Duh me!). Whatever it is, I'm still proud to say that I got 95% of the lyrics correctly. Now, I can pursue a medical transcription career if I'm bored with my current job. lol

YUGTO (Rico Blanco)

Hoooo, Ho ho ho 2x

hooo ho ho ho 2x

leeg mo'y pupulutan, dugo mo'y sisipsipin

lumiyab,lumiyab

Should I stay black or go for red?

Its been a while since I thought of having a make-over with my hair. Last night I finally decided to search for something that would help me decide what to do with it. I was actually planning to put dark green highlights on my hair just like Ryoma's hair color. But I'm not sure if the color would be available or if it would look good on me. Anyway, after visiting some sites about hair (and anything in between), I finally found something that interests me.

It's called virtual hairstyles, a virtual hair makeover from Marie Claire. You can upload your photo and can from different hair colors and hairstyles to your lipcolor and blush!

I actually tried a couple of my photos on this virtual hairstyles and here are the results!

The only thing I can say right now is that I look like a clown with my red hair! lol

It's Shika At Last!

My client's webmail isn't working so I'm here slacking off, spending my time reading yaoi- and smutty- themed mangas while editing the websiteswhich I will be sending emails to soon. And just as promised, I'll try to have more blog entries for this month. So here goes... There's nothing special about my life for the past two days except that I'm still in the process of teaching my dearest cousin, Kyla some monosyllabic words for her to speak. Words like smile, hi, hello, and cool as well as hipos, sabad, ayus, okay, and of course, lawlaw! She really sounded funny every time she said those words. Ooops, before I forget I even taught her to speak Smart and Globe! See? I'm fair. Or should I just say a fence-sitter? You judge! lol.

Anyway, I came across this quiz while searching online. It's called Romantic Love Quiz, sort of a compatibility test- which Naruto Character is most likely I'm compatible with? Well, I've always wanted to have Shikamaru as the result of the quiz since I've always liked him. Actually, i liked Sasuke before him but it looks like I my crush from isn't like before. ;;) I kind of get irritated with Sasuke's character in the story right now. Hmmp! He's acting stupid. Oh well, probably he just got blinded of his feelings of frustration and ummm... whatever. What's good about the story is that naruto-addict like me would get hyped every time there's up and coming chapters.

FINE. back to the quiz I'm talking about. I once took this kind of quiz before and I ended up being compatible with Itachi and then I tried it again and the result was Sasuke. Though the quiz I took was of the same theme, the questions are different. You may not believe it but I really tried to be honest as possible. Though I must admit there are questions which are really obvious, I chose those which are really want. And take note, I didn't cheat! Surprisingly, I end up getting the result which I really wanted. My beloved Shikamaru! The one and only slacker nin of Konoha! I was so obsessed with him that... Let me tell you a secret. I was so obsessed with him that I once read a mature fanfic of him and Temari! :P How's that? Looks like I'm getting more and more perverted, eh? Better end it here now before I embarrass myself even more. Ciao!

nara shikamaru
Nara Shikamaru

Your one true love is Nara Shikamaru. You're probably the kind who loves to muck around and look at clouds so that's why you'll love this slacker nin of Konoha who finds everything troublesome and plays with shadows. Though lazy, he's a loyal friend and has an IQ of more than 200 points, which fascinates you.

It's June!

Well, here's my first post for June. I finally decided to be more religious in posting entries in my blog.

  • I've been so lazy to post since I started reading mangas online. Up until now, I'm still into it. It seems that I cannot just give it up specially that I'm always looking forward to watch the up and coming episodes Naruto Shippuuden and as well as the chapters in the manga. At this point, the plot is getting more and more exciting and it makes me want to fast forward to either Thursdays or Fridays of every weeks. It is on that day that new chapters and episodes are posted on the web.

  • I was enlightened to wake up early last Sunday to attend mass again after two weeks. Though I wasn't able to see my crush there (lol), I received a good news that our parish has started to publish its own newsletter called Bigkis. As what our Parish Priest said, the newsletter was named Bigkis because it means binding things together. Bigkis is also used as a noun referring to the thing that is tied to support the newly cut umbilical cord of a newly born baby. In the religious sense, this newsletter hopes to bind every member of the parish together to be a good Christian and disciples of God.

  • Today's Tuesday. The second night since my crush resigned from work. There's no weird feelings from me though. Its only Tuesday but I can't seem to wait until its Saturday. Recently, I've been quite excited to stay at home during weekends. There's really nothing special happening at home during weekends but I love the fact that I can just lie down and watch tv and sleep and just do anything. Well, what can I say? I am self-proclaimed procastinator and my mom hated it.

  • Two weeks from now, my Aunt will arrive from Abu Dhabi. She's been working there for a long time now. I hope I'll receive something special from her. A Sony W55 digital camera will do. wink
