Siya pa rin ang First Love ko

Sorry but I really have to post this- the latest McDonald's TV Commercial entitled First Love.

I mostly prefer TVC from Jollibee over McDo but this one is my fave among all of McDo's TVCs.

Cheers!

KIM fettish

Looks like I have this fettish for the name Kim. Why? First of all, there was a time that I was into singing along with a hit Eraserheads song, Sembreak and it starts with a line "Dear Kim". Second, I once had a crush named Kim. Lastly, if I were a guy, I would choose Kim Kardashian as my object of desire. hahah... But honestly, I think she already is since I really find hot and enticing. I even got a copy of Playboy Magazine (Philippines) when I saw that she was featured in it. Ooops, just for the record, I'm not a lesbian. Its just that I really like her. And probably because uhm... I am so envious of her ass. because mine is so... nevermind. LOL

Eheads: The Reunion

Its good to hear that Ely Buendia health is getting better after what he had gone through during the Eraserheads Reunion Concert last August 30. All the fans who attended the event were surprised to hear that Ely had to be sent to the hospital after the first set of the concert due to chest pains. I , myself was also rattled to hear about the news last Sunday. I was like, WHAT?! Oh well, for a fan like me who wasn't able to attend and was just hoping to watch clips of the concert through the net, it really came as a shocking news.

Right now, after all those news, I'm glad to see photos of the Eraserheads Reunion Concert from those fans who are lucky to be there.

Ely Buendia: Deal!

I was surprised to see that Ely Buendia was the one playing in Deal or No Deal tonight. Its been a while since I last saw him. I didn't even realize that he lost weight after he was hospitalized. Well, what's important is that all is well that ends well. ;-) In the end, Ely went home with more than Php 100,000 in exchange of his chosen briefcase which is only worth Php 25.

Here are some of the screenshots of the show. FYI, I don't own this. lol

83008

Eraserheads, the legendary OPM rock band of the 90s and one of my favorite bands will have a one night reunion concert. This long awaited concert will be held at CCP Open Grounds on August 30, 2008. The call for a reunion has been going on since the band disbanded six years ago. According to the article I've read in pep, ex-bandmates Ely, Raimund, Buddy, and Marcus were swayed to play together in a 45-minute set after being offered P2.5M to P10M apiece.

Fans, including me can't wait to see the to see the country's own version of The Beatles on this concert. But the thing is, I'm pretty sure I can't come to watch it live. Thank heavens I have access to the famous youtube!lol

Hayaang Tikman ko ang Langit

Okay, inaamin ko na... Napahiya ako... Napahiya ako dahil sinabi kong avid fan ako pero heto, hanggang ngayon wala pa rin akong kopya ng Tikman ang Langit: An Anthology on the Eraserheads... Sus! Php 180 lang daw pero di na mabili-bili!

Anyways, while googling I came across Janette Toral's blog (ibang klase biruin mo, number one ang blog nya nung hinanap ko ang Tikman ang Langit sa Google? Kakainggit naman...) at ang sabi (and let me quote what she has quoted),

The book's blurb state:

"For most Filipino youths in the Nineties, the Eraserheads was the band that defined their generation. From the underground scene, the band led the alternative music's invasion of the mainstream and ushered in a new era of Pinoy music.

In this compilation of essays and never-before-seen photos, the E-heads' exploits and influences are potrayed from the point-of-view of the fans -- stories that depict how an ordinary-looking "combo" made their impact, and why we regard them as the last great Pinoy band."

This book compiled fourteen essays written by Eraserheads fans to their fellow fans (at kasama ako doon!). I was surprised to know kung sino ang mga tao sa likod ng librong ito kaya heto, napa-WOW ako! Cool di ba? Lol

So while waiting for my next payslip I'll just entertain myself with the Eraserheads' video I stumbled upon youtube last night. Cool to kasi sumamblay si Ely (paos ata) pero okay lang magaling pa rin!
